tons of Mo/W's in elona?
My comp is a piece of crap so I couldnt take a screenshot, but for anyone that has checked lately, why are there TONS of monks hanging out in elona's reach? Elona's reach is my ONLY spot left for HALFWAY decent way of getting money (and no i don't do runs, thats not how i roll).
People say they are bots, what do you think? |

Yep, 90% of them are bots. You can notice a bot when he acts strange and is walking like all the others and standing on the same place as the other bots

Yeah, I was looking at that yesterday. At first I thought my graphics
card was messing up. Looks like someone set them up to farm the Minotaurs in the mission. There must be fifty of them, just going in and out. Does that mean that someone paid for fifty copies of the game? How long do they last before their accounts get banned? Doesn't seem like it'd be worth it for whatever they can salvage off Minotaur drops. |

Yep, they are farming the minotaurs in Elona. I noticed that they tend to "disappear" in Elona, rather than running out the door as they used to in Augury Rock.

They are farming for minotaur, then trade for handwraps, then salvage and get 30 cloth, then sell to merchant for 20gp each. Each run you can get about 5 minotaur horns in 3 minutes. So, in one hour of farming you get about 5 horns x 20 trips = 100 horns = 20 handwraps = 600 cloth = 12k gold. Not too shabby. But... cloth has gone almost back to normal prices so I think no more farming there.

I noticed the exact same thing last week. Almost half of the bots there were members of [love] and called Xingling --- or Xinglong ---
You'd of thought if Anet even had the slightest care for getting rid of bot farmers they'd get someone along to Elona Reach and sort out the fuc king problem! Its not exactly hard to miss! |

bot's and a solution
There are a ton of bot's in Elona's Reach. Thay run 24/7. I have a suggestion for ArenaNEt to try and fix the rampant use of bots in Elona's Reach. There is a simple solution, if you move the merchant from his location to where the storage agent is, or behind her. This well brake there simple run pattern, (run forward, strafe right, run forward, target nearest ally). This would be a simple patch that would fix the use of bots.

what i dont understand is why they all crowd around the merchant... surely it dosent take that long to sell the farmed items.
